Natasha Tobias-Cooper

Founder/Owner

Hello, my name is Natasha and I am the owner/founder of NWE Weddings & Events. My love and passion for weddings started back 20 years ago when I used to be a highly sought after wedding DJ. During this time in my life, I was in awe of the wedding industry and all that was necessary to make the perfect day come true. After years of DJing and seeing the wedding day from start to finish, I decided to take a wedding planning course. This is when my true passion for a career change came to life! We are now presently involved in over 300 weddings and events each and every year and this would not be able to happen without our fantastic team members below. I am truly blessed for having them in my life, along with all our amazing clients – past, present, and future.

Paul Tobias-Cooper

Owner

Say hello to Paul, also known as my amazing husband/business partner. Paul joined our team back in August 2016. Oh happy day! Being a workaholic, I had no time to spend with the love of my life, so we made a mutual decision for Paul to leave his other career and to come and join me to grow this wonderful business together. Paul takes care of each and every one of us and oversees all operations. He is the manpower us ladies wanted. From lugging bins and rolling out stacks of chairs for deliveries, to setting up arbours and backdrops, he is just what we all needed! You will even find Paul doing day of coordination duties, as well as meeting with clients when we are in heavy wedding season.

Kalynn McCavour

Administrative Manager

Kalynn joined our team in May 2018 and we are beyond thrilled she did so! With amazing organizational skills, communication and impeccable work ethic, Kalynn adds so much to our business. Kalynn completed her wedding planning course very quickly with high honours and is now an NWE certified wedding planner. Kalynn also handles all the correspondence with new and existing clients. She oversees marketing on all social media accounts, provides day of coordination services, facilitates mock tables, and manages the NWE calendar for new bookings/customer pick-ups/consultations. She also handles all day-to-day tasks in the office such as payroll, bookkeeping and accounts receivable.

Jessica Wallace

Events Manager

Jessica joined our team in August 2021. We had no idea how lucky we were at the time to have found another outstanding team member. Jessica is dedicated, strong willed and will work non-stop until the job is done. Jessica also passed her wedding planning course with high honours and is now an NWE certified wedding planner. Jessica’s day-to-day tasks involve meeting with clients for consultations and preparing quotes. She is also in charge of file management and creates all floor plans and timelines for our clients. Jessica oversees the thousands of rental items we own and completes yearly inventory as well. Jessica is also one of our Day of Coordinators and is the lead for NWE’s set-up and tear down services for all venues in our area.

Tristan Barton

Project Manager

Tristan joined our team in May 2022 and oh how thrilled we are that he did! He is always so happy with an amazing smile on his face. Tristan is eager to work, takes pride in everything he does and his attention to detail to each and every wedding does not go unnoticed. He is also married to Jessica above so watch out for this dynamic duo at a wedding near you! Tristan oversees all warehouse tasks which includes preparing and packing all orders prior to each event. You may see him around in the NWE van hauling the trailer doing deliveries, setting up events or assisting with day of coordination tasks on wedding days. Want ceiling drapes hung for your wedding?
